Floodlights.

The floodlights are nearly finished! The poles went in last week and the actual lights will be put up during half term week. This will start on Tuesday 27th. May and the courts will be out of use on that day but if the work goes according to plan they will be back in use on Wednesday and Thursday. Although they will still be working then it should not affect use of the courts -members should check with Pat Lane if unsure.Info on using them will be given to members as soon as possible.

Tennis Fun Days.

The 'Tennis Taster and Teas' day in April was a resounding success with players of all ages having a really good afternoon of play and some delicious refreshments- a big thank you to everyone who helped put it on. That day was such a success that several people have suggested that we do some similar, but smaller scale, afternoons over
the summer. The first of these is to be on...

Sunday June 15th.Fathers Day-what a treat for Dads!

For all ages but under 12yrs of age must be accompanied by a parent.
We shall aim to start at 2:00 and organise games for anyone who turns up.
Please bring a plate of food or a cake to share and the club will provide drinks.
This would be an ideal opportunity for new members to get to know more people and if you know of anyone who is thinking of joining please encourage them to come-they can see the club, meet members and join in.

Apart from special days like this the adult club times are Wednesdays from 6:00pm, Saturday mornings from 10:00am and an informal session on Monday mornings from 9:30am ( mainly ladies but men are very welcome to join us!) Junior time (unsupervised by the club) is 5-7:00pm on Fridays. We are also happy to try to put you in touch with players of a similar standard - please contact Norma on 01544 327540.Please note that at certain times the courts will not be available for ordinary play, for example when matches/ tournaments are on, and you should check the notice board or website, www.eardisleytennis.co.uk for details.

Home matches (from 6:30pm) this season:-
In June- Mon. 2nd, Tue.3rd, Mon.9th, Mon.16th, Tues.17th, Tues.24th, Mon.30th.
In July- Mon.7th, Tue.8th, Mon.14th, Tue.22nd.

Half-term Coaching and Tournament.

Thursday 29th. May 'Tennis Camp' with Oli Paton our LTA licensed Coach:-

Mini Tennis for 4-7 yrs.
from 9-10:30am £6pp-concentrating on the fundamental skills and technique of tennis as well as lots of fun games!
Junior Tennis for 8-10yrs.
from 10:30-12:00 noon £6pp
Teen Tennis for 11yrs and over
from 12- 1:30pm £6pp- course will work through grips, swings and co-ordination whilst using match play but most of all it will be fun! Book any of these by phoning Oli on 07967531501 or email: olipaton@hotmail.co.uk

Mini Tennis Tournaments.

As part of the Herefordshire Mini Tennis Competitions programme Eardisley is the venue for a series of tournaments. Cost is £2pp. All start at 2:30pm (but allow time for a 15 minute warm-up). Usual running time is 2hrs.

Mini Tennis Red Tournament Tournament.
Thursday 29th. May-for those born 2000 or later.

Mini Tennis Orange Tournament -
Sat.7th. June-for those born in 1999/00/01.

Mini Tennis Green -
Saturdays 24th. May and 5th. July-for those born 1998/1999
